The Palm Aire Country Club will be hosting a women’s golfing tournament this December in Pompano Beach.
The Dixie Women’s Amateur 2020 Invitational is a stroke play golfing event where professional golfers compete against former Dixie Amateur Champions. The game will be the last major international amateur event played before the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. Matches will be played on the country club’s Cypress Course. Sporting events similar to this can advertise their games with printing services.
There will be 120 skilled golfers playing during the invitational, with each group playing threesomes. Spectators are allowed to watch the golfers during the tournament, though all guests must be at least 50 feet away from the competitors. No spectator carts will be permitted on the course. Caddies will also not be used in the competition. Every golfer will get a gift at the Palm Aire clubhouse lobby when checking into the event.
The golfing tourney will begin on Thursday, December 17 and will conclude on Sunday, December 20. The fee to register for the invitational will be $420, and the price will increase to $470 after November 1. Female golfers who were not invited to the event can request an invitation from the organizers by completing a form on the tournament’s website. Applicants must attach their golfing resumé and can include their World Amateur Golf Ranking.
