Force-E Scuba Centers in Pompano Beach will be organizing an activity in July to raise awareness for local conservation efforts.
The Tag-A-Tail Paint Night is a family experience where guests can work on a crafts project while learning more about how to help protect the environment. The evening will include a slice of pizza and cold refreshments, though guests must bring their own beverages. Lisa Miceli, an artist who works with Stoked on Salt, will help participants complete their crafts. After the art project is finished, the venue will hold a trivia contest on tagging fish tails and take a group photo.
The experience will also feature a presentation that shares how the Coastal Conservation Association Florida protects local environments and enhances marine resources. The organization is involved with several projects, such as constructing memorial reefs and restoring oyster populations. A few events organized by the association include the 19th Annual Inter-Chapter Challenge and CCA Florida Statewide Trash Tournament.
The paint night will be held on Friday, July 15 and will begin at 5:30 pm. The cost of the activity will be $25 per person, which includes a ready-to-hang craft made from recycled wood. The session will only have space for 18 people. Businesses that host family activities such as this may use banner printing to market their events outside to passing motorists.
