Pompano Beach event to benefit those with breast cancer

Joanne English-Rollieson will be organizing a multi-day event in Pompano Beach to raise funds to support people with breast cancer.

Spring Bling Think Pink 2023 is a program that celebrates life through several group activities. The experience will begin with a poolside meet and greet at the Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa. Those at the meeting can try a specially made pink cocktail. Attendees can take part in various athletic activities like golf and tennis at Pompano Beach Community Park on the following day. There will also be a gala and inspirational breakfast held during the event.

The Spring Bling Think Pink program was created by Joanne English-Rollieson to turn the negative energy associated with cancer into something positive and uplifting to others. The groups benefiting from the event will be BRCAStrong and Englewood Health. BRCAStrong is an organization that offers financial support to women with breast cancer, while Englewood Health is a network of hospitals in New Jersey.

The event will be held from Friday, May 12 to Sunday, May 14. Tickets for the whole experience will cost guests $300, and those who only want to attend the gala can pay $200. Those who cannot attend the programs in person can donate online. Organizations that put fundraising events like this together may use banner printing to help draw attention to their causes and programs.
