Community Based Connections, Inc. (CBCI) will be organizing a charitable brunch in April at Galuppi's in Pompano Beach.
The Brunch Escape is an event where people can enjoy food while supporting local programs for youths. The brunch will be a buffet that has stations for carved prime ribs, waffles, and omelets. Guests will also enjoy seafood like smoked salmon platters and peel-and-eat shrimp. Those who can legally drink can have bottomless mimosas during their dining experience. All proceeds earned from the ticket sales will go to the CBCI.
The CBCI is an organization created by Brian C. Johnson in 2009. The current chief executive officer for the non-profit is Mike Olbel. The group has created many programs for local children, including the Learning Together Program, Family Strengthening Program, and Early Achievers Program. The organization also created the Awesome Dad Awesome Men (A.D.A.M.) Fatherhood Mentoring program. Other events held by the CBCI include the Community Connections Gala, Christmas Toy Giveaway, and The C-Suite Challenges and Opportunities.
The charity brunch will be on Sunday, April 16 from noon to 3:00 pm. Tickets for the event will cost guests $100, though people can get a discount by purchasing theirs before March 31.
