The holidays are almost here and communities all over are holding many different types of events to celebrate. Pompano Beach is no different, and two upcoming events will offer fun activities for people of all ages.
The Yuletide on Atlantic parade is set to take place early in December. This annual parade features floats, marching bands, and, of course, Santa will bring up the rear. Floats are expected to be decorated with a holiday theme. After the parade, McNab Park will host a number of children's activities and visits from Santa and other Christmas characters. Mayor Lamar Fisher will be on hand to light the community tree and refreshments will be available.
Later on in the month, the 5th annual Jazz and Arts Festival will allow for some last minute gift shopping. The event will feature arts and crafts for sale, jazz music, wine tasting, and a sidewalk chalk exhibit. Organizers are still accepting applications for vendors; fees are $15 for a six-foot table and $20 for an eight-foot one.
Pompano Beach banner printing companies may find an increase in business leading up to both of these events.
