Residents of Pompano Beach are advised to maintain an open schedule for the beginning of next month, as a vibrant celebration of Indian culture is coming to the Pompano Beach Amphitheater.
The immersive event will introduce guests to the food, music, dancing, and cultural traditions of this diverse Asian country. Several vendors will be attending and providing savory Indian dishes and snacks. The event will also play host to a bazaar where attendees can shop for Indian clothing and jewelry.
Guests are encouraged to bring dancing shoes, as the festival includes Bolly-Jazz dancing, along with a dance session held by a local Indian DJ. Other parts of the festival include a fashion show, yoga and mindfulness sessions, and performances from over 100 local dancers and artists encapsulating the spirit of India.
The event is geared toward families with the goal of spreading awareness and appreciation for Indian culture. Business Cards are an excellent way to spread awareness of local restaurants and shops at such events.
Proceedings are planned for Saturday, December 2, beginning at noon. Registration for the Namaste Indian Festival is free, though spots are limited, and interested parties are encouraged to make reservations online, which they can do by visiting the festival’s Eventbrite page. Attendees will also receive a raffle ticket as part of the festivities.
