The Old Town Untapped is taking place on the first Friday of every month until September, presented by the City of Pompano Beach.
The event, which is in its inaugural year, is a celebration of local craft brews, arts and crafts, and music. There will be performances by musical groups and music provided by 104.3 The Shark. Food trucks will be on hand to sell a variety of dishes and area restaurants will be open to serve those who would rather have a sit-down meal.
The arts part of the celebration will include exhibits and vendors. A 10 x 10-foot space is available to vendors for free and they must provide their own tables, chairs, and tents. Arts and crafts vendors will likely be selling a variety of items, which will probably include handmade jewelry, pottery creations, ceramics, and clothing. Local small businesses and community groups are also eligible to become vendors at the festival.
The festival is a way to get people into the downtown Pompano Beach district and discover what it has to offer. To help spread the word, organizers may invest in flyer printing services.
