The Pineapple Jamboree is returning to the city next month, presented by the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce.
The reason for the annual jamboree is to celebrate the history of the area, which during the 1940s was filled with pineapple fields.
Guests will have the opportunity to sample pineapple flavored cocktails while enjoying treats based around the tropical fruit provided by top Pompano Beach restaurants. There will also be entertainment provided by a live band, rum tastings, and a traditional Hawaiian luau.
In past years, guests have also enjoyed a variety of pineapple treats, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and pineapple planting demonstrations.
This event will be a networking opportunity for local business leaders, as well as a chance for area restaurants to convince those leaders to use their premises for social events such as Christmas parties.
It is likely that many of those who are planning to attend this popular annual event will be placing a new business card printing order from their favorite Pompano Beach printing firm.
