The 6th annual Halloween Fair and Horse Show is taking place in Pompano Beach later this month. It is a fundraising event for the Bit-by-Bit's Horses for Heroes veteran rehabilitation program and riding programs.
There is set to be a costume contest on horseback performed in front of an audience and a public costume parade. Guests will have a chance to paint a pumpkin or play games such as throwing horseshoes and a bean bag toss. There will also be pony and hay rides, face painting, and bounce houses, all of which come with a small fee. Food and beverages will be available for purchase during the afternoon.
It is a unique way to celebrate the coming Halloween holiday while helping a worthy charity, which will no doubt appeal to horse lovers of all ages.
