The 4th annual South Florida Crawfish Festival is taking place next month for two days in Pompano Beach. It is a presentation of CrawDebauchery.
The festival is dedicated to the Cajun food and music from New Orleans. Guests will be able to enjoy crawfish, gumbo, jambalaya, and other traditional foods. There will be vendors, musical performances, and a Kids’ Zone. Some of the dozens of musical acts that will be performing are The Revivalists, Chubby Carrier, Raw Oyster Cult, and The Rodeo Clowns.
The Kids’ Zone will offer games, face painting, storytellers, jugglers, and several other activities.
There will also be a couple of contests. The Gumbo Rumble will find the best recipe, and has an entry fee of $100. The Krewe Competition will be giving out prizes for the best booth by an organization.
VIP tickets are available for $70 on Saturday or $65 on Sunday. These include a free drink, food samples, and free Bloody Marys and Mimosas for the first two hours.
People competing in the Krewe Competition will probably be investing in items such as Signs and Banners to make their booths more attractive.
The South Florida Crawfish Festival will be held at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater Field from April 1 to 2. General admission tickets are $30 on Saturday and $25 on Sunday, and tickets can be purchased at the gate for $40 on both days. For more information, visit the official event website.
