Festival brings Brazil to Pompano Beach

The 4th annual Brazilian Fest is taking place next month in Pompano Beach. This year will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of the AcelUSA newspaper.

There will be two stages featuring cultural performances and music from cover and local bands. Some of the performers who will be appearing at this year's festival are Carla Visi, Nanny Assis, and Rafael Ponde. There will also be several DJs, samba dancers, and costumed performers. More than 100 exhibitors will be on hand to sell a variety of homemade arts and crafts, merchandise, and food connected to the South American country.

There will be a Kids Zone that is set to feature an outdoor circus and inflatables, while an X-Zone will have freestyle skating demonstrations, a fashion show, and the Mega-karaoke challenge for cash prizes.

A variety of traditional foods and drinks will also be available for purchase.

VIP tickets are available, and ticket holders will have access to a private lounge, can enjoy hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, and will be able to attend a cooking class.

Pompano Beach Print companies will likely help to advertise this event by providing products like Flyers.

The Brazilian Fest will be held at Community Park on October 17 from 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Admission is free. VIP tickets are $40 until September 17 and $60 after. Call 954-489-2797 to find out more about the festival.
