Those who enjoyed drive-in movies in the past may wish to head to Pompano Beach to enjoy an evening of fun in the water while they take in a flick.
The city’s Houston Sworn Pool, which is located at 901 NW 10th Street, will serve as the venue for this specially planned ‘Dive In’ event, which has been organized by the city’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department. Guests will be able to cool off in the pool and swim while they take in the movie ‘Pete’s Dragon’. There is no fee being charged to participate, and all ages are welcome.
Snacks and other light refreshments will be available during the show, and it will begin at 8:00 pm. Poster printing can be utilized to create an assortment of marketing materials that can be place throughout the community to promote an event like this to the public.
The evening is one of three that pool movie nights have been planned for the spring and summer. June 9 has been selected as the date for the Pompano Beach Dive In movie, and the next has been scheduled to be shown in August.
