Cultural performance scheduled for Pompano Beach

An opportunity to explore and learn about a new culture is coming to Pompano Beach in a few weeks, and area residents are invited to attend.

The Drums of Polynesia concert is scheduled for next month, bringing Pompano Beach residents together to learn more about Polynesian music and culture. Guests can expect an authentic atmosphere, with tiki torches and conch shells to complete the setting. The show will include musicians, drummers, a live DJ, and dancers, and is being promoted as an opportunity to experience Polynesian culture through the lens of music.

The dancers at the show will perform with fire and share songs from islands like Tahiti and Samoa. Attendees will be treated to dinner during the concert performance. The foods will feature Polynesian cuisine and a signature drink for a fun night with friends. RJ Rewi, who has performed with Druns of Polynesian since its founding in 1975, will lead the event. Poster printing is a remarkable way to market events like this and create souvenirs for attendees.

A VIP ticket package is available for interested parties wanting to meet Rewi and other performers. It includes a signature drink and a goodie bag to help people remember the concert.

The Pompano Beach Cultural Center will host this dinner show on Friday, March 1, starting at 6:00pm. Tickets start at $50 per person and can be purchased online.
