The South Florida VW Club will be holding their annual German Classic Show N Shine this March at the Pompano Citi Center in Pompano Beach.
The 37th Annual German Classic Show N Shine is an event that allows people to see vintage vehicles produced by Volkswagen. There will be numerous classes featured during the show, such as Beetles, Vanagons, and Ghias. Food and drinks can be purchased at Dangerous Minds Brewery. Due to the building’s fire codes, there will be no BBQ grills allowed during the event. Those who have cars that are “leakers” must bring a drip tray or pad.
The South Florida VW Club was initially founded over 38 years ago and hosts many events throughout the year. Past activities include their Festival Mega Holiday Car Show and their Miami Springs Annual Holiday Toy Drive Mega Car Show. The mission of their club is to bring together people who are fans of Volkswagen vehicles, though members are not required to own a Volkswagen. The 37th Annual German Classic Show N Shine will be held on March 29th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event will open its doors at 8:00 am. Those interested in registering their cars for the show can pay $35 at the gate or can register in advance by March 13th to pay $25 instead.
