Cigars and sundresses collide in Pompano Beach

A celebration of cigars and sundresses will begin next month, bringing culture, celebration, and fun to the Pompano Beach area.

The 2nd Annual Southern Soul Cigar and Sundress Festival will kick off soon, offering Pompano Beach residents a memorable way to unwind, enjoy the weather, and celebrate with like-minded individuals. The event, touted as South Florida’s largest Cigar Festival, aims to combine style and live music for a memorable day in the Sunshine State.

Organized by local company 2 Xtreme Marketing and Promotions, the event will bring cigar enthusiasts together with interested parties who want to show off their most stylish sundresses. Attendees can relax or dance to live soul music provided by artists like Angie Griffin, Donnell Davis, Sky Whately, and Smoke Dogg 870. Banner printing is a colorful way to welcome performing artists and musicians at festivals like this.

The event is run by the same group of individuals who organized the Pompano Fall Festival. Outside food and beverages, large Bags, weapons of any kind, and wagons will not be allowed into the festival venue. Attendees should check the weather and dress suitably, since it will be outdoors.

The festival will be held at Centennial Park on Saturday, September 14, with the gates opening at 3:00 PM. General admission tickets cost $25, and VIP entry costs $50 per guest. Reservations are available online.
