The Antique Automobile Club of America will be holding a show in January at the Sample-McDougald House in Pompano Beach.
The Sample-McDougald House Antique Car Show is an entertaining event where people can look at interesting cars and learn about local history. The show is open to any vehicles that are over 20 years old. All entries into the festival will not be judged. Scott the Music Man will perform for attendees, and food can be purchased at the participating food trucks. People may also bring their meals to the event. Vehicles will be separated into categories of pre-war and post-war.
Guests can experience free tours of the Sample-McDougald House while at the show. The site is included on the list of National and Local Register of Historic Places and was built in 1916. The home was constructed by Albert Neal Sample, who served as a community leader for Pompano Beach until he passed away in 1941. The museum is visited by approximately 7,500 people each year. Those who operate historic sites like this may use poster printing to promote any future events to locals.
The antique car show and house tour will take place on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Car owners who wish to enter their vehicles into the event must pay $20. Prices will increase to $25 after January 15. Attendees without cars can explore the show and house for $10.
