A competitive tennis event is coming to Pompano Beach next month, offering area players an opportunity to test their skills.
At the 2024 Beach Tennis Fest, interested players are encouraged to prepare their racquets and lace their shoes for a day in the sun. Participants in the event will receive free uniforms as part of the registration costs, and guests will have access to eight tennis courts for the weekend’s matchups.
Interested parties will have 16 different categories to register under, with players of all skill levels welcome to sign up. Registered players can bring snacks and beverages, though the event will also provide refreshments to ensure all competitors remain hydrated and healthy while they play. The event will also include doubles competitions, with each doubles winner receiving an $800 prize. Banner printing is a fantastic way to welcome athletes to athletic events like this.
The doubles category must have at least eight teams signed up in order to move forward with the competition. Single beginners and advanced players will compete on the Saturday, and the doubles tournament will start on the Sunday.
The Pompano Beach Pier will host the tennis festival on the weekend of May 4 and 5, with the games beginning at 8:00 AM on the Saturday morning. Registration costs $100 per player and can be arranged online.
