The 5th annual Orchid Show and Sale: Orchid Obsession is taking place next month in Pompano Beach, presented by the Deerfield Beach Orchid Society.
The show is set to feature 10 vendors who will be selling orchids or items related to the care and growing of them, including garden accessories, soil, and vases. Orchid vendors will be judged before the show opens on November 19 and prizes will be awarded.
For the public, there will be a variety of lectures on how to grow orchids or how to care for them once they have blossomed. There will also be several door prizes provided by the vendors including orchid centerpieces.
This may be a good event for those who have thought of growing orchids but were afraid it would be too difficult. It is also an opportunity for growers to meet those who have the same interest, and for local vendors to gain exposure.
To help spread information about this event, organizers may ask a Pompano Beach Print company to provide them with printed products, such as Postcards and Flyers.
