The Shining Stars Award Luncheon is taking place next month in Pompano Beach, and is a presentation of the Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Margate Chamber of Commerce.
This year, community leaders, volunteers and business leaders from both Pompano Beach and Margate were eligible to win awards. Last year, 10 business and community leaders were honored.
Guests will enjoy a sit-down luncheon followed by the awards presentations. There are several awards to be handed out during the afternoon. These include the Founder’s Award, the Stewart Kester Award, and top Business Man and Woman. Several Lights of the Community awards will also be presented. All winners were nominated by their peers and nominations closed last month.
With this being one of the main networking events on the Pompano Beach business calendar, it is likely that many of those who are planning to attend will be placing a new business card printing order. There will be plenty of opportunities before, during, and after lunch to exchange cards with peers.
The Shining Stars Award Luncheon will be held at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort and Spa on August 18 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Tickets are $65 each and sponsor tables of 10 are available for $750. Contact Shanna Benson at 954-941-2940 x205 for the most current information.
