Yearly event brings back memories of the 1960s

The 12th annual Love-in Party in the Park will take place this May in North Miami Beach. It is presented by Catholic Health Services and the Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department.

The festival celebrates the music of the '60s, '70s, and '80s and is set to feature some well-known bands. This year's performers will include The Family Stone, The Guess Who, and Blackstar. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs; hula hoops and Frisbees are also welcome.

In addition to great music, the party also features a variety of arts and crafts and food vendors. Those who wish to become vendors at this event can still apply until April 13. Fees are $150 for arts and crafts, $275 for food sides and dessert, and $500 for protein and meat dishes.

This will be a great opportunity for North Miami Beach residents to rediscover favorite music or to discover a new band. To advertise events like this one, organizers often invest in brochure or flyer printing services. The items can them be quickly and inexpensively distributed in the community.

The Love-In Party in the Park is taking place in Greynolds Park on May 3 from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, and children aged 12 and under are admitted free of charge. Call 305-945-3425 to learn more.
