North Miami Beach is all decked out for the holiday season, and a special event has been planned to celebrate the occasion.
The city has planned Snow Fest and Community Safety Day Parade, which will include all sort of entries. There will be musical entertainment to keep the crowd on their feet, and there will also be rides and visits with Santa for the kids. The adults in the crowd can browse through the vendor displays, try out the rock climbing wall, and take in the holiday parade.
While the celebration may be taking place in Florida, the kids can still climb a snow mountain and go skating at the rink. There will also be inflatables, carnival style games, arts and crafts, a giant slide, and a wide variety of food trucks will be on site.
The parade, which is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm, will include an assortment of entries, with marching bands, holiday characters, and floats. Admission to all of the evening’s activities is free of charge. The date for all of this winter-themed fun will be December 9, and it has been planned by the City of North Miami Beach Department of Parks & R.E.C. It will be taking place on NE 19th Avenue, between 164th and 171st Streets.
