LeToya Luckett will be performing this August near North Miami Beach.
Luckett, an original Destiny's Child member, stayed active post her 1999 departure from the group. She formed and dissolved Anjel, another group, and launched a Houston boutique. After a brief LA stay, she signed with Capitol in 2003. "U Got What I Need" debuted in 2004, and later came "All Eyes on Me" in 2005 and a Coach Carter soundtrack contribution. "Torn" hit number two on Hot R&B Hip-Hop Songs in 2006. Her self-titled album, including earlier singles, went platinum upon release.
"Lady Love," her second album, topped Hot R&B Hip-Hop Songs in August 2009, featuring hits like "Not Anymore" and a Ludacris collab. Alongside music, Luckett acted in Preacher's Kid, and TV series Treme, Single Ladies, Ballers, and Here We Go Again. In 2017, her third solo album, "Back 2 Life," released via eOne.
The upcoming performance will also feature sounds of DJ Nasty, DJ Vybz, and DJ Boweezy. Complimentary wine and champagne will be served from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. General admission tickets will cost $20, and tickets can be bought through the AllEvents listing.
Flyer printing is a great way for organizers to promote events such as this one.
The event will take place on Thursday, August 31st. It will begin at 7 pm and will end at 3 am. It will be located at 13641 NW 7th Ave, North Miami, Florida 33168.
