North Miami Beach residents and those from the surrounding communities will soon have an opportunity to take part in an activity designed to be fun, while at the same time supporting US soldiers serving overseas, and those who are currently in hospitals at home.
Canvas Club will be hosting the benefit, the proceeds of which will be donated to the not-for-profit group iPads for Soldiers. The organization donates iPads to soldiers deployed to Afghanistan and also to those who were wounded and are currently receiving treatment in US military hospitals. People who take part will have an opportunity to enjoy getting together with friends while they create their very own painted masterpieces. The facilitator will provide instructions and materials, with everyone who takes part having a painting to take home.
The function will take place at Drinkhouse Fire and Ice, and tickets are $45 each. Every ticket holder will receive instruction, canvas, paint and other materials, a glass of wine to sip while they paint, and entry for one to the Ice Bar. It has been planned for November 11 starting at 6:30 pm. A printer can create a variety of Promotional Products to help get the word out to the public about events such as this.
