A spring tradition in North Miami Beach will be returning for another year, as the Love-In Music Fest looks to bring back memories of the ‘60s and ‘70s.
While the name may raise some parents’ eyebrows, this Love-In aims to create a family-friendly atmosphere with music, food, and good vibes. In past years, the festival has featured cover artists of iconic ‘60s and ‘70s bands with names like The Light of Led Zeppelin and U. S. Stones, as well as “original” artists like Eddie Money. Attendees typically come to the park, sit on lawn chairs and picnic blankets, and take a flash back to a time they may or may not remember.
In addition to the tunes, the Love-In will include up to ten food booths or trucks. Vendor names and bands will be announced in the weeks leading up to the festival. Festivals like this, major or minor, can be an important way for vintage acts, or those that are simply old souls, to connect with fans. Trippy graphic design will likely be seen on T-Shirts, booths, and poster printing around the park. Last year’s Love-In saw hundreds of attendees, and organizers will be looking to build on that this year.
The 2020 edition of the Love-In Music Fest will take place at Greynolds Park in North Miami Beach on March 22.
