A new marina has opened its doors and docks in North Miami Beach.
The Marina Palms Yacht Club offers 112 wet slips that can accommodate boats with drafts of t10 feet and that are between 40 and 100 feet. Each has been wired to provide high speed internet, and the marina’s sundry store also has WiFi, which is also available at dockside for those who wish to make use of it.
In a statement from US Marinas, which is managing the facility, spokesperson Jim Bronstein remarked that dock space like this is difficult to find in South Florida, and it is the first time a marina like this has been constructed in the area in more than 20 years. Those who make use of the slips, which are located in Maule Lake, will be able to reach the ocean on their boat in 15 minutes.
Along with the docks, sundry store and other facilities, the Marina Palms Yacht Club and Residences also has two towers of luxury condominiums that overlook the water. There are currently 40 available for sale, with prices starting at $950,000.
