North Miami Beach has plenty of parks where kids can enjoy fresh air and exercise, and the city has asked its residents to spend a day making sure that these green spaces are clean and ready for use.
The community has planned a “Kids to Parks Day”, which will give children and young people an opportunity to help clean up the city’s outdoor play spaces. They can come out and led a hand by planting gardens, gathering litter and debris, and assisting with other tasks that will help to beautify the area’s parks.
The day will not just be about work, as there will be games to play and entertainment to take in. This will give the community’s younger people a stake in making sure that the outdoor spaces they use are kept looking great.
