A late summer celebration will soon be held near North Miami Beach, and it promises to offer fun for all ages.
Miami Beach’s Haulover Park Kite Field will be the location for an afternoon and evening of under-the-sea-themed activities. The public is invited to bring their favorite kite to fly, and lots of other excitement is on the agenda as well.
Guests at the free celebration will be invited to spend some time in the bouncy castle, and there will also be a variety of games and other fun. Several food trucks will be parked on site for those who would like a bite to eat, and music and other entertainment will also add to the excitement.
While the event is all about enjoying time in the fresh air and sunshine, the organizers have included educational components as well. They noted that their goal is to help build an appreciation for the sea and the creatures that call it home, and many of the kites that will fill the sky will fit into this theme. August 18 has been chosen as the date for this community activity. There is no charge to take part, and it will be held at 10800 Collins Avenue in North Miami Beach.
