The Groundup Music Festival, a family-friendly occasion, will run for three days in Miami next month. It features live performances, as well as the opportunity to take masterclasses from performers.
All performances will be given in an intimate space, where the attendees can be up close to their favorite musicians. The genres will include jazz, rhythm and blues, and world music. The festival does not permit outside food or drink, but there will be food and drink available for purchase on site.
There is no set performance area, and music and jam sessions might begin anywhere on the grounds. Tickets will be limited to 1,800 units per day, which is to ensure sufficient seating.
The headlining acts will include Roosevelt Collier, Sirintip, and Moonchild. The organizers, a band called Snarky Puppy, will also perform on both days of the festival. The event may interest all residents of Miami Dade County, including those making the short journey from North Miami Beach.
The cost for tickets is $109 per day, and $289 for all three days entry. There are premium tickets available that give amenities such as access to VIP areas. Further information on ticket purchases is available on the event's website.
The festival will be held at the North Beach Bandshell, which is located at 7275 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida 33141.
