Gala helps raise funds for crime victims

The Fundraising Gala for the National Center for Victims of Crime is taking place this June in Coconut Grove.

This is a black tie or formal dress event that will start off with a cocktail reception, doubling up as a networking for area business leaders. This will be followed by a classical music concert by Anne Chicheportiche and Sophie Dumont. After this will come a French-inspired sit-down dinner and opening speeches.

There will also be a live art performance by Alistolfo Funes, a raffle, and a silent auction. Several people will receive awards from the National Center for Victims of Crime. It will finish off with a closing ceremony that will recognize those who have sponsored the event and thank everyone for attending.

Sponsorships are available for $3,000 and $5,000. In order to recognize them, in addition to mentioning them in the closing ceremonies, organizers may also invest in sign printing services. Since many of the attendees may come from nearby communities such as North Miami Beach, they may also order Flyers to be distributed.

The Fundraising Gala will be held at the Impala Hotel in Coconut Grove on June 5 from 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Tickets are $200 until this Friday, May 29. and $250 afterwards. To find out more about this event, or to become a sponsor, call 305-290-9544.
