Festival aims to bring back 60s vibes

The North Miami Beach-area Love-In Music Festival will return this September, providing a slice of ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s style to attendees of all ages.

The Love-In Festival provides a tribute to the musical stylings of classic rock and pop through an assortment of local bands, including The School of Rock Miami House Band, The Eagles tribute act The Long Run, and the Mr. Nice Guy Band. The festival also specializes in craft beer and will have a variety of local brews available for sale. The Love-In encourages attendees to dress in vintage fashion and holds a costume contest to select those who put together the best retro ensemble.

Proceeds from the Festival will go towards conservation efforts at Greynolds Park. Attendees will also be able to enjoy the park during the festival, one of the last substantial green spaces in the Miami metro area. There will also be food on hand from local vendors.

Using a theme such as retro culture or a musical style helps festivals such as these to promote themselves, allowing for imaginative graphic design and advertising. While the Love-In is typically an annual festival, last year’s event slated for March 2020 was canceled, meaning that many vintage duds will be coming out of closets for the first time in a while.

The Love-In Music Festival will take place on September 5 at Greynolds Park.
