The 8th annual Children's Trust Family Expo is being held this September in Miami.
The event is expected to have more than 250 exhibitors on hand representing various health, education, and social services companies and organizations. The expo will take over two exhibit halls and will offer seminars on after-school programs, services for disabled youth, and other services parents might wish to know of.
For the children there will be entertainment provided on two stages. There will be music, Nickelodeon characters, children's story telling, face painting, balloon sculptures, stilt walkers, and a rock wall. Sports activities are also on the schedule and will include workshops from members of the Miami Marlins. In addition, there is set to be a family pet area where pets can be adopted. There will also be plenty of food and beverages available for sale as well.
The first 1,000 school-aged children will receive a new backpack and composition book. It is also possible that some of the exhibitors will be handing out free items such as Pens to visitors who will no doubt come from all over the area including North Miami Beach. Items such as these can be ordered from local Print companies.
