People from across North Miami Beach are invited to watch a movie under the stars in a few months.
A Movies on the Lawn event has been planned for Griffing Park, where families and friends can get together to socialize and watch a film on the grass. Those who plan on taking part are reminded to bring along a folding chair and some blankets so they can be comfortable while they enjoy the show.
Both admission to the event and popcorn will be offered free of charge, and additional refreshments will be available for purchase by anyone who wishes to buy some. Those who plan on taking part in the activity can arrive as early as they wish, and the movie will begin when the sun goes down.
Griffing Park is located at West Dixie Highway and NE 123 Street in North Miami. The name of the film that will be shown will be released one month before the event. Flyer printing can be used to create promotional materials for activities such as this to be distributed throughout the local community.
A Movie on the Lawn will be held on September 16 in Keystone Field’s Bobby Hammer Park. Those who have any questions or who wish to find out more are invited to call 305-895-9840 and ask to speak to a member of the city’s Parks and Recreation Department.
