Summers are hot in southern Florida so indoor activities are often a welcome change. Trazos Art Academy in North Miami Beach is offering Family Painting Day events once a month inside their air-conditioned facility.
Family Paint Day offers a chance for parents and children to work together to create something they all will enjoy. Instructors will help to create the finished painting by providing step by step directions along the way.
Selecting a specifically chosen picture that will be painted by everyone in the class, the instructors will walk through the class and help by giving guidance on how to create each piece of the painting along the way.
Parents can save the take home artwork by using Print shops to copy and duplicate the final painting making Copies to share with grandparents, aunts, uncles and other family members, especially those who live far away.
The classes are two hours long and are often filled with chatter and laughter as each family member reveals their artistic talents. All supplies are provided including paints, easels, brushes, canvas and aprons.
Trazos Art Academy is located at 17152 West Dixie Highway. Family Paint Day is offered once a month at 11:00 a.m. and participants are asked to please arrive fifteen minutes early. The available dates for the remainder of the year are August 3rd, September 7th, October 5th, November 2nd and December 7th. Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased from Eventbrite.
