North Miami Beach green thumbs who are looking for just the right gift for their gardening friends and family may wish to check out an upcoming event to see what it has to offer them.
The Miami Beach Botanical Garden has organized its annual Botanical Bazaar, which will be bringing together a curated group of area artisans. It has been planned as a relaxing experience where shoppers can browse, ask questions, and purchase any items that catch their interest.
The items on offer will all have a botanical theme, and a special section will be set up where local ‘orchid-philes’ can look for a new one to add to their collection. There will also be other plants available for purchase to keep or give to a friend, and snacks and other refreshments will be served as well.
As an extra draw for this year’s bazaar, author Ellen Kanner will be on site. Kanner is a vegan writer who has won several awards. She will be conducting a cooking demonstration and also signing Copies of her new book. North Miami Beach’s horticultural set are invited to head to the Miami Beach Botanical Garden for this special event, which will be held on December 16. It is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am.
