Annual weekend event brings pro athletes to the area

Hangout Day weekend, due to take place next month, brings a number of NFL players and local celebrities together to help the youth of North Miami Beach. Proceeds from two separate events go to the Stars of Tomorrow; an organization that mentors local youth.

The 3rd annual Hangout Day Celebrity Charity Basketball game will feature several professional football players, including E.J. Biggers from the Washington Redskins and Max-Jean Gilles of the Portland Thunder. Other celebrities and local personalities will also be playing in the game.

The next day, the 5th NFL Youth Football and Cheerleading Clinic will take place. It will feature more than 20 NFL players such as Louis Delmas from the Miami Dolphins and Mason Foster of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The clinic is aimed at children from the ages of 3-17.

To market this upcoming event, organizers might have been working with North Miami Beach poster printing companies to provide the poster that will be displayed in the community.

The basketball game will take place at the North Miami Beach Senior High School on July 18 from 6:00 - 11:00 pm. Tickets are $10 each. The succeeding football event will be held on July 19 from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. To find out more about the Hangout Day weekend, visit the Stars of Tomorrow website.
