Native trees benefit both the human and natural world, and the community of Roseville has a project in the works that will install a selection of these species in a local green space.
In honor of Michelle Mahan, who was a past board member with the Roseville Urban Forest Foundation (RUFF), two planting days have been scheduled, and they will take place at a location near Nichols Park. The goal is to plant several hundred trees, so all help will be appreciated.
Those who register for the activity will be provided with gloves, masks, light refreshments, and water, as well as tools and other supplies, and it is recommended they wear clothing suitable for the task at hand. All who register are asked to arrive a little early for check in so that the work can get started as soon as possible. It will be an all-ages project.
Community and environmental stewardship projects may require a lot of organization, and Print shops can help. They can provide printed waivers, registration Forms, vendor applications, Letterheads, and many other types of custom business Stationery.
These chances to show some love to Mother Nature will be held on February 10 and 24, both of which are Saturdays. Both will kick off at 9:00 am, and check-in starts at 8:30 am. The venue will be released to attendees after they have registered.
