Flower-inspired fashion show catwalks into Irvine
A fashion show inspired by flowers is coming to Irvine this September. The IIDA Orange County Fashion and Flowers event is being hosted at AV-Irvine.
The “flower walk” is inspired by nature, bringing elements of design and creativity into each piece, organizers with IIDA said.
The show will also serve as a networking opportunity as it will gather a number of leaders in architecture and design firms.
With a focus on curating inspiring styles, the event has general admission tickets that can be bought online, ranging from $23-$159. In addition, there are also sponsored tiers that range much higher in cost for those who want to support the event.
The venue is AV-Irvinem, a 25,000 square feet space with contemporary, customizable design. They host everything from weddings to galas to more corporate events, like product launches.
The fashion show in September comes after an initial reveal night announced the show’s theme, back in early August.
The organization behind the event, IIDA Southern California chapter, is involved in interior design education programs and advocating for ways to advance the interior design field’s workforce. They host a slew of other programs and events for those in the interior design profession.
Fashion events like this may choose to use poster printing for web and in-print advertising in cities, social media and local venues.
The Orange County IIDA Fashion and Flowers show is happening on September 11 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at AV-Irvine at 16500 Scientific Way in Irvine.
