Whales and dolphins come to Dana Point

Captain Dave’s in Dana Point has summer dolphin and whale watching safaris in July and August for adults and children. The boating service is owned by husband and wife team Captain Dave and Giselle Anderson.

The Super Safe Dolphin and Whale Watching Safari runs seven days a week at two-and-a-half-hour intervals. Open to all ages, the catamaran boat is high-tech and high-speed. It has an underwater viewing pod where guests can watch dolphins and whales close up. The trip has historical narration, a whale and dolphin museum, and tram nets on the bow. At the end of the tour, Captain Dave’s triple fudge brownies are served.

The Super Safe Zodiac Whale Watching and Dolphin Safari is for ages six and up. The boat is low to the water and only carries 14 people. The tour is two hours. Guests view sea life close to the water and are encouraged to bring cameras for photos.

This is the fastest boat available for whale and dolphin watching. It has padded seats and is protected from the sun. Trips are available seven days a week, and those interested may call for more information.

Captain Dave’s is booking private boat tours for dolphin and whale watching too. Printers design Promotional Products for businesses like this.
