The Dana Point Ocean Institute will be opening its doors in January to those who wish to obtain a hands-on appreciation of maritime fauna. An upcoming event will enable all guests to feed a sea star by hand.
Simply referred to as "Sea Star Feeding", this seminar is an excellent way for Dana Point residents to learn about the maritime ecosystem that has come to define the region. Organizers also claim that is an ideal opportunity for children who have already expressed an interest in subjects such as science, and marine biology.
This will be a supervised seminar, and each guest will be provided with a handful of food that needs to be prepared before being fed to a sea star. Note that the event is open to all ages, and children under 18 months will not require a ticket. Furthermore, everyone who confirms a reservation can bring along another guest.
Science-oriented events will often fall back on reliable advertising methods. Poster printing, brochure distribution, and creating informative Flyers are all proven techniques that will attract the intended audience.
The Ocean Institute will be hosting this gathering on Saturday, January 10th. It is expected to last approximately 30 minutes, and attendees are asked to arrive just before 12 PM at 24200 Dana Point Harbor Drive. Tickets cost $10, these can be obtained via the official website.
