Hundreds of premium vintage wines from throughout the region as well, as microbrews and appetizers, will be available in Dana Point at the two-day California Wine Festival.
The first event will be from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm this Friday, April 15, at the Richard Henry Dana Ballroom located in the Laguna Cliffs Marriott. Billed as the Sunset Reserve & Rare Wine Tasting, the evening will offer 500 guests a sampling of rare and reserve super-premium wines paired with hot and cold appetizers prepared by the region’s top chefs.
The second event, the Beachside Wine Festival, is on Saturday, April 16 from 1 pm to 4 pm at Lantern Bay Park. Those who are among the 50 VIP guests will be able to start their tasting at 11:30 am.

A lively background of music will set the tone at both events. Ticket prices range from $69 to $185 depending on whether the ticket is for one or both events or includes exclusive VIP tickets for Saturdays Jackson Family Wines tour of Pinot Noirs.
