The Doheny Surf Festival is returning to Doheny State Beach in Dana Point this month. This popular Southern California surf festival embraces the surf culture while raising funds to support local State Parks.
The festival is produced by Utopia Entertainment and the Doheny State Beach Interpretive Association (DSBIA) and presented by Subaru. The weekend event is free and open to the public. Jammed with activities, surfing demonstrations, and contests, as well as over 100 surf and beach vendors, there will something of interest for every family member. Additionally, food trucks will be on hand to provide sustenance for attendees, and there will be a Kona Beer Garden, vintage and collectible surf boards, and a Classic Woody Car Show.
Savvy local merchants will be working hard to show attendees that Dana Point, and their own business in particular, has something of value to offer all year round. Brochure printing services as well as business card printers will be pressed into service to ensure local entrepreneurs will be able to maximize this advertising opportunity.
Everything surf-related from memorabilia to art, clothing, and music will be on hand at the Doheny Surf Festival, which is scheduled to take place on the weekend of June 28th – 29th, from 9am to 8pm. While the event is free, the beach parking is priced at $15.
