The Orange County Seafood Festival is almost here. The popular event features a wide range of fresh seafood delights, as well a few vendors selling non-seafood fare. It takes place at Lantern Bay Park here in Dana Point, and admission is free.
Over a dozen restaurants will be on hand selling their own seafood specialties, which include various lobster, shrimp, and crab dishes as well as catfish, salmon, red snapper, scallops, and alligator tail. Moreover, the OC Beer Mixer will offer around 20 beers and the Wine Mixer will provide a choice of two dozen fine California wines. Some of the money raised from drinks will go to the Dana Point 5th Marine Corp Regiment Support Group.
This type of event provides local restaurants, breweries, and wineries with a platform. With the help of Print companies, establishments can provide handouts to ensure patrons remember them. While enjoying their seafood and libations, attendees can move to the sounds of three different musical groups. A vendor village, with more than 100 exhibitors, will be on hand as well.
The OC Seafood Festival 2014 takes place this Saturday, August 9, from 12:00 noon till 7:00 pm. Dogs are welcome if they are on a lease and attendees can bring chairs, but no blankets. Attendees are also asked not to bring in any outside food or drink.Get a Free Quote for Print
