The Pacific Symphony is holding a series of pop-up concerts for Orange County throughout the summer. Next month, it will come by Dana Point to give a live performance.
The concert is part of the “Pacific Symphony on the Go” series, where the symphony travels to different cities to perform on a mobile stage. When the symphony arrives, performers will quickly unpack and play on a colorfully decorated setup. The mobile stage was gifted to Pacific Symphony by Jerry and Terri Kohl to showcase their appreciation for the symphony.
Once the performance is underway, locals can drop by to listen and watch the concert at any time. The symphony is directed by Carl St. Clair and will perform chamber music as smaller ensembles. Since the concert will happen outside, guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets for seating.
For those who cannot make it to the concert, the symphony will hold performances in other cities like Irvine and Laguna Niguel. These events are usually promoted with the help of poster printing, and the symphony maintains an updated schedule of future concerts on its website.
The concert will take place on August 11 between 7:00 PM and 7:45 PM. Locals can attend for free, and the stage will be at the Sea Canyon Park at 33093 Santiago Drive.
