Concerts in the Park at Sea Terrace Park in Dana Point has a notable lineup of tribute bands and entertainers over the coming months. All concerts are free and have two bands performing.
During all the concerts, the first band performs 3:00 to 4:00 pm, and the second band 4:30 to 6:00 pm. On July 14, Pyromania, a Def Leppard tribute band, get the program started. The second band, Aeromyth, follow with a tribute to rock legends Aerosmith.
Reflexx performs on July 21 offering alternative classic music of the 1980s. The second band is Freedom, a tribute to the work of the late George Michael and his group Wham!
On July 28, a tribute concert to Aretha Franklin will be held called The Queen of Soul Aretha. The second band AbbaFab, showcasing the hits of Swedish pop icons ABBA.
4 NR performs on August 4 with a musical tribute to Foreigner, and the second band Queen Nation plays a tribute to the music of Queen.
On August 11, Kalimba honors the music of Earth Wind & Fire, and the second band Hot August Night entertains the audience with the music of Neil Diamond.
For August 18, three bands will perform. Tunnel Vision a five-member surf, reggae, and ska band gets the day started, then Polynesian dancers and other performers take to the stage. The Surf City All Star, a tribute band for the Beach Boys and Eagles, follows in a 5:00 to 6:30 pm slot.
