Ohana Festival lines up musical entertainment

The Ohana Festival, a three-day music festival in Dana Point, has an exciting line up of musical entertainment. The festival is open to children and adults.

This festival will have some big-name entertainers Eddie Veeder, The Strokes, and Red Hot Chili Peppers performing. Eddie Veeder is a singer song writer that plays several instruments and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when he played for Pearl Jam.

The Strokes are a five-member rock band that made the Rolling Stone 100 Best Albums List for the album Is This It. Red Hot Chili Peppers are a rock band the plays funk, punk, and rap music.

Other groups that will be playing during the three-day festival are Incubus, Nathaniel Rateliff, The Night Sweats, Jacobs Banks, Poolside, L.A. Witch, Gretta Rae and many others.

On the Story Telling Stage, artists and story tellers will tell tales using art, movies, videos, photos, wood, paintings, song, and oral storytelling.

There is merchandise on sales and many food vendors. They will have beer, wine alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, acai bowls, pizza, seafood, sandwiches, tacos, burgers, chicken, ice cream, salads, barbecue, kebobs and a VIP Lounge.

Some of the proceeds go to San Onofre Parks Foundation to preserve and improve local parks. Dana Point has a Print shops that provide Logo Design for festivals like this.

The family friendly festival is September 27 at 1 p.m. to midnight, September 28 at noon to 11 p.m., and September 29 from noon to 11 p.m. located at Doheny State Beach Park at 25300 Dana Point Harbor Drive.
