Dana Point is slated to host a unique August event known as "Sharks After Dark".
As the title suggests, attendees will be able to obtain an up-close-and-personal view of the sharks associated with the California maritime environment.
Sharks After Dark is being sponsored by The Ocean Institute, an educational organization that can trace its roots back to 1977. This event is open to the public, although reservations will need to be confirmed in advance.
At similar events to this, coordinators can use methods such as poster printing, Flyers, and online posts to keep the public informed as the date draws closer.
Among the attractions at the event will be guest speakers from The Ocean Institute, a selection of interactive exhibits, live shark feeding tanks, music performed by local bands, refreshments for children, and alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, and cocktails.
Tickets will need to be purchased ahead of time. While children under 18 months can enter for free, kids up to 13 years old will be charged $7.50. The cover charge for anyone over the age of 13 is $15, although senior citizens and veterans will only need to pay $10.
Sharks After Dark is being held at The Ocean Institute at 24200 Dana Point Harbor Dr., and will be taking place between 5:30 and 8:30 PM on August 8.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
