Marine Festival comes to Dana Point in September

The Ocean Institute will hold its annual Marine Festival next month. The event will take place over the weekend at Dana Point’s Harbor, with festivities starting around Friday evening.

Event organizers have prepared different ocean-themed activities and shows for guests to enjoy. Attendees can board one of the harbor’s many sail ships and enjoy the sight of a mock cannon battle. Families can also attend mermaid shows, where performers dressed as mermaids will give live displays featuring swimming and storytelling. Events like these are usually promoted with help of flyer printing, which provide a more detailed list of available activities at the festival.

Food and drinks will also be offered to all guests. Food vendors and local breweries will be at the event to sell their goods, and guests can enjoy their meals while listening to live music. There will also be seating by the harbor, so attendees can also sit down to enjoy the view of the ocean.

The festival will run from September 10 to 12. For specific opening and closing times, the Ocean Institute has more details on its website. General admission to the event is $15, and additional tickets will need to be purchased for activities like the mock cannon battle. Guests can find the Dana Point Harbor at 34571 Golden Lantern Street.
