The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel recently released dates for its Diamond Ball and series of Yappy Events.
The hotel, located in on a bluff overlooking the coastline of Dana Point, hosts a Yappy Hour event every month during the summer and an annual Diamond Ball. The proceeds from these events go to animal-related charities. This year’s events will benefit the Wounded Veterans Initiative of Canine Companions for Independence.
The fifth season for Yappy Hour begins on Thursday, May 14 and will continue on a monthly basis throughout the summer. Canines and humans alike can enjoy refreshing libations. Humans will be able to purchase their choice of beer or wine and barbecue, while their four-legged friends can sample complimentary bacon, beef, and chicken flavored water, and chew on handmade dog biscuits.
The following month, the annual Diamond Ball will be held Veterans Day Weekend. The gala, which takes place on November 7, will feature an extravagant four-course dinner prepared by the Ritz-Carlton’s Executive Chef Brian Sundeen, live and silent auctions, as well as live music and dancing.
