The Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament will take place at Monarch Beach Golf Links next month.
This is a telecom industry event whose proceeds are set to benefit Tower Family Foundation and Angel’s Place. Tower Family Foundation was established to help provide financial support to family members of tower workers, who may get injured, become disabled or lose lives in line of duty. Angel’s Place, on the other hand, offers support for quality early childhood education for children to single parents in need.
The event will be a chance for attendees to network with key telecom industry players, and play golf with professionals. Live music will be played at the Dana Point beachfront.
Professionals who wish to take part in the events can acquire their tickets from eventbrite.com. Tickets range from $50 to $5000 depending on whether a person is registering as an individual golf, paying for dinner only or as a sponsor. Sales for tickets will end on September 14.
Last year, the event took place at San Juan Capistrano, California; and a total of $24,000 was raised for charity. This year the telecom community is even aiming higher.
