Doheny Blues Festival has new musical line-up


The Doheny Blues Festival Festival is coming to Dana Point in early spring. This festival will have rock, blues, and soul music, craft beer, hand crafted items, and food. It is held at the Dana Point Sea Terrace Park.









The days of the festival shuttles will run throughout the day. This year there will several bands performing Saturday and Sunday.





Some of these band are the Allman Betts Band, Vintage Trouble, Robert Cray Band, North Mississippi AllStars, Sue Foley, The Marcus King Band, Southern Avenue, and Robert Gaines Tribute Band to T. Bone Walker.





The Doheny Stage is the largest on site where the top talent performs. The other stage is the PCH stage located at the opposite end. The Backporch Stage is an intimate stage that has storytelling and acoustic musicians perform.





The Vendor Village will have handcrafted items for attendees. There will be jewelry, leather goods, paintings, cosmetics, food products, hats, tee shirts, and giftware.





The food vendors will serve barbecued food, Greek, vegetarian, hot dogs, sandwiches, soft drinks, ice cream, desserts, pulled pork, mac and cheese, grass fed burgers, and chicken. Print shops in Dana Point provide flyer printing for events like this.





Craft beer tasting starts at 11 a.m. for adults near the Backporch Stage. The Doheny Blues Festival will be held May 18 and 19 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The park is located at the corner of Pacific Park Highway and Niguel Road.
